The Zen Gardens will host its 5th
edition of the glamorous Fashion High Tea event. The annual garden party now in its fifth year
will take place on Saturday 7th February 2014 from 2.00 pm – 8.00pm.
Fashion High Tea has grown to become the
premier, must-attend event, marking the start of the fashion calendar in Kenya
and attracting Kenya’s most affluent and impressionable personalities and media
whilst promoting local and international fashion business through runway
showcases and mini boutiques. The event has earned repute for the most
glamorous display of fashionable guests in the latest fashion trends.

The Fashion High Tea in 2015 High Tea promises a more exciting runway
featuring top design houses. With a unique runway setup that includes intimate
table seating for guests. They will be sourcing gorgeous models showcasing
unique collections from local and international designers.
Signature to the
Fashion High Tea, Zen Gardens will be offering an elaborate High Tea Menu. The
lavish menu will include Sushi Bar, Cheese Corners, Ice Cream Bars and Burger
Stations.

fashion, their annual Fashion High Tea event aims to support various causes.
Their list of charities in years past is as below; the Pumwani Maternity Hospital (2011); children suffering from cancer at
Kenyatta National Hospital
(2012); Therapies for children for a
predefined period of time (2013); The first lady of Kenya’s Beyond Zero Campaign, where they
deployed mobile clinics across the country to provide better prenatal, deliver
and postnatal services to the underprivileged (2014)
Their 2015 Charity
Fashion High Tea in 2015 will be raising money for the “I support my daughter Campaign”. The
campaign aims to educate women in Samburu and is dependent on sponsorships as
the local community attaches little value on girl-child education.
The
High Tea dress code
High tea gatherings dress code has historically been associated with
elegance and sophistication. Traditionally, attendance by high society ladies
would require that they wear dresses, gloves, hats and gentlemen would be
expected to dress in jackets and a tie. Fashion High Tea requests that ladies
should come
wearing big hats and sundresses. Gentlemen will be requested to come in
Jackets.
